Nocturnal Me wants the best of both worlds...Supplied with a DIY mentality and an ear towards the future, Nocturnal Me hopes not only to revitalize an uninspired music scene, but also appeal to a mass and diverse audience. While many bands would choose between one or the other, Nocturnal Me understand that with the right personnel, the right songs and thought provoking lyrical content, both can be achieved. Each member of Nocturnal Me has served time in different nationally recognized pop/rock outfits (Cute Is What We Aim For, Streamline, Rose Are Red) and have joined forces under the guise of Nocturnal Me in order to bring their true artistic vision to life. The band includes Mikey Lasaponara on drums, Jeff Czum on guitar, Dave Melillo on vocals and John Viavattine on bass guitar. The sound being pursued is based in accessible aggressive rock, with an infusion of funk/soul/R&B. Influences include Incubus, Jimmy Eat World, Jamiroqui, and Maroon 5.
